I can hear the bells ringing
Deep inside this heart of mine
I know it's almost Christmas
An important time of the year
People clamoring to finish wrapping
All the gifts they need to bring
Under the Christmas tree that's glowing
Little kids waiting impatiently
All I want for this year
Is nothing anyone can give
It is on my own decision
That this gift I've yet to receive
I'm wishing for you this Christmas
Probably every Christmas next
I know it won't happen
And I'll always be lonely each year
